failed my driving test... lol I suck at life

Bummer man. Can you retry? I just came back from my driving test in Rosenberg and barely passed. I got a six year DL

How did you get a 6 year DL???

I don't know. I tough it was odd too since I had to wait for my EAC to be cleared by USCIS to get a license. I got the letter in the mail the 31st. Today I did my road test and passed.

I have a question about this. Do you have to request the letter from USCIS? Or does it just arrive?

Nice. If you don't mind can you explain what you did to get the six year DL? Like what you had to show and stuff.

Well, when I went the first time to the dps they told me that they could not clear my work permit and that I would be getting a letter telling me when to come back. A week later I called the dps office in austin to check if they had cleared me, they said yes and that the letter had been sent but didn't have to wait to physically have the letter to get my DL. So I made my appointment, got the letter a couple of days later and went and did my driving test.

I was expecting to get a two year DL. I don't know why I got it for 6. I showed them my work permit, ss card, test that I did online, insurance, car registration, and my id. They also may ask for proof of address so take something with your address and name. More than a month old, but no more than 3 months.

^^^At the Rosenberg office..did u make an appt online or just walk in for the driving test. I have my permit. Im gn give it a shot n see if I can get a 6 yr license too.

Nobody is supposed to be getting a 6 year license. So don't trying going around the system and end up getting in trouble later. Beggars can't be choosers.
