They sent ID for some yets and progress reports for some, so I have evidence since 2007, but not continous I suppose. I'll do it myself with the thread's help this time. I had no chance since they gathered everything to send it the first day possible.
Oh man you didn't help them? Come on! Okay I won't scold you for it. lol

Yea see that's what happened. Don't blame your parents they were only trying to help. Well now if you're around 17-18 I'm guessing in 07 you were in middle school? Find some stuff man. Nah it's just the fact that you didn't send them school records for those years. They know that there might be a gap because of summer vacation. Try and find things to cover that though just in case.

Wow, I almost feel bad for criticizing you about whining. Hope you get dat PhD en Englesh soon.

On a more related note:

Some people on here have also gotten a letter similar to yours. They basically resent the transcripts and attendance letters. If you have certificates, try sending some that include months and years (no need to cover all, I think 2 a year would be fine). Even if you include new information, resend them copies of your transcript or report cards that you have already sent in proving your continuous residence.

Yeah I was mad because I demanded they get a lawyer and my father assured me he did not need one. I know him too well. I'll just request all transcripts, report cards, and attendance records since 05. Thanks for the help. Hopefully this doesn't delay my process too long.

Thank you very much, but only for the related note section 😝. Yeah I whined; I was a bit disillusioned. I was too excited when I received the letter and I didn't know and RFE was even a possibility. Almost texted my friend before I opened it.

You really don't need a lawyer unless you have a record or are in removal proceedings I believe...also if you have a difficult case. Some people have received RFE's and they went to one so yea. lol

Many of us have been approved with no RFE's and we didn't pay an attorney.

#rookieimmigrationlawyerovahereloljklol

You're young so I understand your frustration but you need to chill brotha! Everything will be fine! We are lucky we qualified for DACA some dreamers out there didn't. :/

Oh i see, i missed this. What state are you in? Most have a way for you to contact the department of education. If I were you, I would go to my middle school and ask how I can get my old school records. Some schools may have it, others may have archived it. If they have it then get them. If not, you should find out how you can get a hold of those archives. This may take several weeks though since you'll probably have to send in a formal request and wait to hear a reply.

Also, resend everything you did before that had to deal with continuous presence. It never hurts to resend things.

He could also try asking at his high school or at the district's office.

Where are the mods by the way? Still haven't moved the thread! lol
