My application was received on 9-27-12 but I didn't get a text message until 10-02-12. I took my biometrics on 11-05-12 and I have been patiently waiting since for a response of any kind. I keep checking the USCIS website and my application has been under "Initial Review" since the 27th of September. I'm sort of concerned that nothing has happened. I've read up and know i'm not the only one waiting, but geesh, it's making me nervous that I haven't gotten any type of letter!
