Duplicate Biometrics appointment Notice

So my appointment for biometrics was originally on 12/24/2012. However i did a walk-in on 12/2 with no issues. Yesterday I received a second notice to have my biometrics taken on 1/15/2013. I called USCIS and they told me that i have to go on my appointment date and show them the first notice to proof that they have already captured my biometrics. Has this happened to anyone else?

I would just walk in and explain it to them insted waiting untill Jan 15 to explain them.

Just make sure that they aren't asking you to take your bios again because the first ones were bad because that was what happened to some people here in the forum, but more than likely it would have said so in the letter.

This Happened to me as well, Don't worry they sent the duplicates because they were closed on the 24th. I did my bios early also, I went to check if I had to do my bios again and they told me to disregard the letter. Apparantly they do not have a system that checks you off if you have done your bios or not. Just curious where are you sending your application from? we have similar dates. (one day off)
