Yes and now when you were entering the US did they take your fingerprints I'm assuming they didn't if so you should be fine applying. As long as there's no paper trail that shows that you change that fake name back to your real name you should be fine.

He just enrolled me in school, got me a a children's ID and the rest is history. So all my documents (school records, immunization...etc.) is under my real name, John ABC. That fake Last name I used was only to get to the US.
I don't quite get this part, did they enroll you in school with your fake name or your real name?

My dad enrolled me in school under my REAL NAME, my birth name. All my documents for DACA are under my real name. My concern is, did I enter with inspection?

Technically, I was inspected. I came to the US through Dulles Airport. I was inspected, but no fingerprints or anything like that. But it was under a different last name. As soon as I came here, my dad changed my last name to his last name and enrolled me in school. He used my REAL birth certificate, foreign passport (which has my real name) and enrolled me in school. So the person I came here as, under a fake name, pretty much disappeared. Does that make sense?

I guess you're right. But I didn't have my own passport. I was a dependent. It was his passport, then my picture and visa was on his passport.

FYI: He is a real person. He didn't use fake documents. His name, birth date...etc. etc. all real. My last name was changed so that I could come here as his "son". Since he came to the US before on tourist visas, they thought I could get a visa here as his "son".

Id say youre EWI since you didnt use your real name. Some people do the same thing except use a different name altogether, but it's still the same thing.

But I thought EWI was like crossing the border? or like coming here on a boat or something.

Can I put Dulles International Airport as "place of entry" and then "EWI"?

Wouldn't that contradict? like how is your place of entry Dulles if you're EWI?

How about "No Lawful Status" instead of "EWI"?

1. NO it is not just like crossing the border. It is that you came without inspection. You did NOT "technically come in with inspection" because it was through fraud. THE guy did not legally adopt you therefore you were never his son. He changed your last name for the purpose of bringing you over to the country most likely because your parents paid him. Did he do it as for the goodness of his heart? Did he legally adopt you?

YOUR dad most likely did not have to change your last name back because he had your original birth certificate with your REAL last name.

THE WHOLE YOU "TECHNICALLY CAME WIT INSPECTION' would not stand in court because a new case just set precedent. This guy crossed the border sleeping in a car. The border guards let him cross. The court ruled he came in with inspection. But, no false documents were in contention. The guy that brought you over would basically go to jail for basically lying about having a son, creating false documents, providing false documents to immigration, and bringing you here.

Therefore you are EWI or NO Lawful status= You can use no lawful status if you feel better about it but is the same thing. YOU CAN'T LEAVE IT BLANK.
