Hello fellow DREAMers! I'm hoping someone can help me figure something out, I'm kinda in a pickle.

Well I managed to get tickets to the Presidents inauguration. Problem is I have not been DACA approved yet. They received my application Oct. 2nd and did my biometrics Oct. 26th. I do have my Mexican passport. I'm having issues with transportation, I really want to go! ^.^

Someone told me I could fly with my passport but has anyone done it? I don't have a state ID

you're fine!!!!!!!! even if you do get stopped ( I dont see why unless you are in the no fly list or are carrying explosives) you wont get deported because you are eligible for DACA and are in the proccess. SO, yes, YOU CAN TRAVEL! : ) have fun be safe and stay calm!

I traveled two times before DACA was announced with my mexican passport and I had no problems.

Not sure dude. Because you will also need an id to get into the inauguration I'm sure. You can fly with your passport. There is always a 50/50 risk but since you have the DACA receipts so you can't be deported.

Not gonna lie I was nervous flying with only my passport, but someone told me to hand it to the TSA agent with the page they need open so there's no need for them to flip through the passport. And of course look confident, like you have nothing to hide. If you fly when airports are really busy it's even better because they barely even look. I remember flying at Houston Hobby and the guy took my passport, made sure the name matched and let me through...he didn't even look at me.
good luck! it shouldn't be a huge deal.
