Regarding More Evidence Notice

My sister filed around the same time I did however I was approved in about two and half month, yet my sister is still waiting for hers to be approved.

She filed it on -Sept 11, 2012

Biometerics Appointment on -October 19, 2012

Case was updated -November 13, 2012 (Online) asking for more evidence

(however she never received the notice by mail and when she called the USCIS office they said it was still in initial review on their system.)

I was trying to find out if any body else is in a similar situation.
Also if you could specify your processing times that would help very much.

USCIS Office also informed me that the processing times are 6-7 months for the approval is that true ?

Try calling again. The notice online in their website check system or notice in an e-mail? Try calling again until you can speak to a higher officer.

IT BEGINS

I called today to confirm with them about the status on their system and they say its on initial review, but it says "more evidence requested" online and last time i talked with a higher rep. I had to wait an hour and she was really rude.

They can still make a decision, and the possibility of approval is not out of the question. But if they indeed did send the RFE and you were not able to comply USCIS will no longer look at approval as the favorable option.

How are you phrasing the question?

I think you should start with.? I have not received the RFE request that my online status is stating? Can you tell me if you have a tracking number for the letter?

You wan't to be 100% sure is a glitch on their part.

I will confirm once more using your suggested phrase. It does seem like a very unlikely glitch on their part but then again I never received the letter.
