a letter from seletive service!?!?!

it was just like anyother day untill i checked my mail box and i discover a letter from selective serice system saying that i am registered and send me a registration acknowledgment with my selective service number on it... i was like hmmmm?!?! i never register and i don't think my status allow me to join arm forces

All males living in the US over age 18 must register for Selective Service. Regardless of status.

Biometrics letter arrived 10/29 Biometrics done 11/20
EAD: February 7, 2013 SSN:Already Have DL:Gonna take a month or two..haha.never bothered to learn..too scurred

It is usually when you get your DL or ID as far as I know. But, you can do it yourself before I think. But, not sure how that process works. Both my bros are USC so they've had DL since before 18. They received their letter on their 18 birthday.

No you're not allowed to join. It just means that if there's a war and not enough 'volunteer' soldiers then yea they will come get you (draft you to war). Hopefully this does not happen again.

By the way by 'volunteer' soldiers I mean they're willing to serve, signed up because they want to not because they have to.

I signed up by mail about 2 weeks ago because the website couldn't recognize my SSN but I still haven't received anything.
