Hey all, so I had been checking multiple times a day the past few days on my brother's application, since I knew it had to be coming around this time. It was actually starting to get me a bit worried ..
But just came back from the movies, decided to give it one last quick check for the day, and lo and behold, the 821D was approved as well as the I-765, which is now in production.
I still have a long way to go myself, but I'm soo relieved that my little brother's finally going to be able to start his life
For what its worth, they did send notification e-mails of approval for both applications, but no text messages, even though I did set that up on my account.
