Yes I did my biometrics on 9/17/2012. I did it the day it was scheduled instead of going early which I kind of regret now

I don't understand why people even bother calling the FBI, the USCIS call center, the biometrics place, etc etc etc. Just be patient, seriously. Nobody said this thing was going to take 2 months, or 3 months. What they did say, however, is that they would take 6 months, 4 months at least. If you planned things around being approved before 2 or 3 months, you were being deeply unrealistic. Sorry, but that's reality.

Patience people, patience.

The only reason everyone is calling these places is because they are seeing all these people get approved even though those that aren't getting approved applied before them. It's just frustrating. I signed up for this program expecting it to take 6 months, but when I'm seeing people who applied to sep. and oct. getting approved before me it's just a little irritating

I heard it was almost a fact that people who went to high school during that 5 year requirement from June 2007 up until now (and provided a high school transcript) get approve quicker.

Please don't speculate... That's why people get all these high hopes. I'm not trying to be a bitch, but everyone making phone calls to the FBI is not helping anybody... It's probably slowing down things for everyone.

I got approved, but that doesn't mean I don't know about waiting for USCIS to answer back. I have another process going that's going to take probably more than 7 years, if not more. To me, and some of us that have dealt with USCIS before, 6 months is nothing.

Don't shoot the messenger.

Just be patient. Yes, some people have been approved. But, be happy for them. They have cleared the hurdles faster. Be positive. Your time will come. Be patient. Calling USCIS doesn't do anything they just send you the same template over and over.

OP
I think you might be stuck in the FBI name check . It happens to people. They have the same name or similar to that of a bad guy. That requires more review to make sure you are not that person. There is cases where someone gets stuck for a long time. If anything went wrong, you would have already been notified with an rfe or noid.

I submitted my application on August 20th, my attorney mailed it until October 18th. I got a request for more evidence RFE, I replied. I just got approved today February 26. So their is such thing as a looong process for this.

Good luck
