Job hunt was great for me, started working last week (so far everything is crazy easy)

My advice is to learn from any mishaps you have on an interview.

Instead of saying you don't know something, say you've never worked with X, but you're a quick learner.

Think of a challenge you've overcome so you can answer this question with flying colors (60% of my interviewers asked me this question one way or the other)

Be relaxed and confident.

Over dress (suit up)

I worked in a small Mexican store in Florida for like three years, I quit because I moved a way for a little while to another state. Now that I moved back I have so many job offers in the little town I live in but I'm still waiting on my approval. It's easier to get a job if you know anyone with a decent job and willing to vouch for you . Now I'm working part time at a restaurant because one of the girls I worked with before got me hired. Just keep looking guys, and don't get discouraged.

Thank you again for giving us the opportunity to consider you for our Clerk-Front Desk position at Marriott International. After careful consideration of the candidates for this position, we are currently considering other candidates whose background and skills more closely fit our needs at this time.
FUCK, I was really looking forward to holding down the job for a while.

I still have a few other applications out there though, Hopefully the Marlins call me back before April.

Applying for jobs is so tedious. 10 page applications. And I hate having log-ins everywhere. I'm about to just go to a fucking temp agency. I'm so done with this, I need to eat!! lol

I heard that if you are underage it always helps listing your school achievements in your resume. I'm glad some of you are finding success with your hunts. I've applied online to a couple places that don't require a SS up front. I'm still waiting for mine to come in.

When my SS comes I will apply everywhere. I have around 3 years of retail experience so I hope I'm able to find a job fairly fast. I did a pretty good job there so I hope they say how much of a hard worker I was.

Do you guys have good resumes? (those who can't find jobs)

I found a job at a call center, worked out great for me since it works out with my school schedule for next semester. I start next week. It's not easy but they are out there! Just keep on applying.
