i have to agree, citizenship is safest for us. authority loves to abuse their power, i don't care if people say not all of them do it, one and only one targeting you is enough to ruin your life. so we need it more than those spoiled brats pissing their lives away with drugs and playing with stupid guns cause they were given dirty looks in high school.

All I want is a legal PERMANENT status and the right to travel out of the country.

What about you guys? Do you actually want to be a citizen of the United States?
Yes. I'd like the opportunity to become an officer in the armed forces should it present itself.

I feel like a citizen already. This country is not perfect but I do feel like I am part of it. I love this country because I grew up loving it and went to school thinking I was american so yes I do want citizenship. Im sorry I dont feel that way for my native country. I just dont. I dont have any attachments to my native land other than wanting to visit it like i'd like to visit any other country. I'd love to be a US citizen. That doesnt mean I dont love my heritage or people. I always wanted to join the military and being undocumented crushed that dream. I wanted to be a pilot but that dream is far gone.

The only reason I would ever be a citizen is for the benefits. I do not plegde allegiance to this country or to any other country. I know its kind of hypocritical but I have and probably never feel part of any country. Seeing other people around me have all this freedom while I just sit here at the back of the bus so to speak, will make you not be part of the group.

As it stands right now we are not even second class citizens so I will be willing to take a green card for life.

Id like to pursue a career in the military, but when you only have a green card theres limits to how far you can go.

With a green card you can join the military. Once in, you can become a citizen faster and easier than any pathway a piece of legislation would create.

Yes.. I was traveling by plane a couple days ago and seeing people with a United States Passport and my foreign passport was kinda heartbreaking </3 especially since I've lived here most of my life but yes I'd definitely want to be a U.S. citizen, this is the greatest country in the world!
