Hey I am 17 and have just got approved! I received my EAD a few days ago and was wondering what I should do next. After I obtain a SSN and go apply for a driver's permit, I know that it says that my parents have to sign off for me. Since neither have a license, will that be an issue?

One parent is required to have ID. Try using their passport, make sure it has not expired.

Hey! Sorry for responding so late. I have already gone to the DMV and you were right. They accepted a parent's passport as proof of identity and therefore I was able to get my driver's permit a few weeks ago. Thanks for the help!

I live in SC. Your parents just have to show their passport and that should work. For me to get my driver's permit, I took my EAD, SS card, and School ID. I think it might be different for GA. You should check their website to see all the requirements.
