I have my TX DL, and my EAC.
Do I have any reason to be concerned, or am I just being a Paranoid Polly. Any experiences at Checkpoints? Suggestions?

You have your EAD? then there's nothing to worry about. Just take your EAD with you and your DL obviously.

Eac? do you mean EAD?

And I wouldn't be too worried. I suggest passing through the checkpoint on the 15 in Temecula. That checkpoint is permanent but often closed. San Clemente is always open and I think the chances of getting stopped there are higher. Most of the people who pass through that checkpoint are commuters who live in south OC and SD county. So if you stand out, you might be checked a little more.

But if you have EAD, there is absolutely nothing to worry about!

If you have your EAD, you might as well go up to Border Patrol Agents and shake their hands. This is what I am going to do :- ).
