This is an issue that someone told me might become an issue. The problem is that there is a lack of communication between employeers and what this process signifies. They don't understand it and there is no category, they do not know how to file it and no one is giving them any answers to their questions, so as a result, some employeers will most likely avoid hiring DACA beneficiaries because they do not know what we are categorized as.

We are not permanent residents in their eyes because we have to re-apply for DACA every two years, yet we are not on a student visa which many are erroneously assuming, meaning that they would have to pay fees, justify our employment because they cannot find anyone that is a permanent resident, etc., etc, we are certainly not on a visa and that is probably why many employeers will just avoid DACA applicants.

and of course we are not citizen either.

I am afraid that unless SSA posts something that employeers that refer to as to how we are categorized we will be facing these problems.

There is a DACA guidance for employers by USCIS on how to fill I-9. Maybe that will help if you send it to HR?
