Not trying to join the bash sonofa***** bandwagon but for real you are making it hard for people to feel any sort of compassion for you. I've noticed you've become very very impatient with your case. Just focus on the positive and relax. If they wanted to deny you they would have denied and not issued an RFE. B happy you were able to even apply cause so many that qualified better than you got left out cause of their age. Also know that CIR is in the works, if you dont get DACA you can always apply for CIR, get married or legalize through a degree.

ps: Hopefully you take a break from this website cause it's getting too toxic for your own good.

Affidavits are my biggest concern though. Just how much value does USCIS place on them? Does it depend on my relation to the person who wrote the affidavit? What about the person's current status? I'm wondering all this because if I do end up getting RFE'd for the gaps in the evidence I sent in, affidavits will be the only thing I can send in and I'm shitting bricks over this.

If supported with circumstantial evidence, they should be pretty solid..

I believe it helps a lot. With my case, I had two 6 months gap in 07 -08, and I got approved w/o RFE. I sent 4 affidavits from USC's (1 from my bf) to cover all of the years I have been in the U.S. They only stated how know me and they confirmed the fact that I have not left the country since my arrival, specifically from 07 to present.

I wonder if we can write an affidavit for someone. Does it state anywhere that they must be from a PR or USC?

I was wondering this because I have a friend who was RFEd for continuous residence.

I m on the same boat as you, if they RFE me, affidavits will be my last resort.....most of my reliable evidence is prior to june 15th 2007.

This is sorta reassuring to me, this thread only brought out the doubt in me. I m gonna not look in this thread anymore. Hearing that someone got denied puts me in a nervous state.

I hope you guys get approvals w/o RFE. I was a nervous wreck when I sent my docs because I did not know if my affidavits would be enough to cover my long-ish gaps.

It might be more beneficial for us to attach affidavits from USC/PR. Two of my friends are USCs, but they did not state their status/citizenship in their letters.
