Ok just got my new, CORRECTED EAD in the mail just now and everything looks good. No you do not have to sign for it. They will just leave the envelope in your mailbox.

I feel like they make card production go slower now.

I had my case approved 1/16/13 and it went into card production two days ago on 1/22/13 and I got a text around 7:45 PM PST.

This morning on 1/24/13 at 1 AM PST that says it has been mailed to me.

At 5 PM PST today (1/24/13) I received a text notifying me the tracking number.
It is expected to arrive on Saturday (1/26/13)

So once I receive the text that says that my card is on production later I would receive another text saying the tracking number?

You will receive one that it was picked up, and then a last one with the tracking info. I just got mine today.

How long did it took after your card production to be picked up by the mail?

Mine just went to this:

On January 24, 2013, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I765 APPLICATION FOR EMPLOYMENT AUTHORIZATION. Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

For approved applications/petitions, post-decision activity may include USCIS sending notification of the approved application/petition to the National Visa Center or the Department of State. For denied applications/petitions, post-decision activity may include the processing of an appeal and/or motions to reopen or reconsider and revocations.


How long until it moves to card production?

Mine is one step after that one I believe because mine it says that my EAD card is on production.
Mine actually took about 3-4 hours to move to card production. I got approve like at 10am and like at 8:30 I received another text saying that my card was on production.

Finally I just received the text and email saying card is now in production.
