My brother who applied a month after me got approved today. -_-..really? Whew..good for him though (he's 17 & still in HS).

I got approved today!!!!


So just to summarize:

Sent my application on October 5.
Got my receipts AND my appointment for biometrics on October 12th
My appointment was for November 8th but didn't take my bios until the 9th
because I got robbed on my way to the application support center and they took
My bios appointment. Then on November 27th they mailed
Me a letter saying I had to go get my picture taken again. And today, January 28
I finally got approved!!!

I know how u feel.. get ready for your parents asking and asking everyday if u got anything in the mail. My sister applied a week after me and got approved one month later. Happy for her but it just makes the waiting difficult.

I'm patiently waiting ..... going on 3 months tomorrow after bios .....

haha last night i checked 100 numbers before my receipt number, and 100 numbers after. Only two have been approved.

Today is my 3 mos. after USCIS received my apps....and nothing....
le sigh.....I need my ssn before Feb so I can submit my FAFSA in Feb,
or else no school for me :/

The person right after me got approved last week... I am hoping my time isnt that far away. Seems to be that hopefully February is our month for us October applicants.

I just checked 100 numbers before me and after as well. There is four of us still in initial review and the rest have been approved with the exeption of one with a RFE. most of them have been approved recently within this month and a few in december The one after mine got approved a week ago and the one before mine got approved today. I Really hope my time is coming. I also noticed that most other kinds of apps have a post decision/card document bubble. I hope i dont get skpped over. :/ I felt some comfort when the apps closest to mine were in the same boat as me but now I'm on my own. Sad day. Lol
