Odd update

Hey guys,

I received an email today regarding my case for deferred action and this is what it said.

Does this mean they changed my number to something else?? If so, where can I find this new number?

If someone could shed some light on this for me it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Go check on their site with your receipt number, see if anything changed.

I think it only means they changed the alien number and its not the same one on your original receipt anymore, but I'm not sure i never got that

I obviously checked the website, and It say's the same thing that I quoted.

Not sure but it could just mean that they are finally
looking at ur application. What's ur timeline?
And do u have a previous immigration case?

I called and apparently I was issued a new Alien number, which I don't understand why that would be necessary.

My timeline: Applied on September 11th, did biometrics September 24th.

But hopefully they will approve u soon
