I have no work permit only an SSN and i can get all the credit cards i want. Dont randomly start applying for credit cards. Establish a bank and have your first card from there. CC's start coming once youre a reliable person in the system.

Capital one has high interest

Start with a secured card from your bank

Don't have to pay interest if you pay your balance in full every month, like you should to raise your credit score quickly.

I got approved for this one and the 19.8% APR is not too bad if you carry over balance, plus you get 1.25% cash back and free credit scores every month:

I don't take anything greater than 15%.

For my long term debt, my effective interest rate is less than 10%.

However, you have to take into consideration that my oldest credit account is 7 years old and my perfect payment record.
