Have you gotten approved for any credit cards yet?

If yes, Who approved you already?

i want to go to Target today and get a Credit Card to buy a tablet for school but idk if they are going to approve me because of my credit history =(
I currently have a Capital one credit card of $300.. They approved me in november 2012.

No, I have actually been denied a credit card at Capital One Bank. They said they're going to mail me the reason why.

I got a pre-appoved letter from Discover but I got denied because the ss # that I put on the application didn't match the one on my credit history (which was fake). So now I'm working on transferring over my credit history.

Wells fargo: $1,200.
Capitol one: $500.


American Express had been sending me an application but it has an annual fee. So i ignore it. Lol
Besides you only 2 to start with when building your credit score. Having too many credit cards is not good.

i just got a credit card from bank of america.
but i had to deposit my own money to initiate the credit card.
try your bank, they will help you out

I got denied by Capital One, so I got a secured card from my bank.

These days the creditors won't easily approve you. They want you to have a credit history and a good one at that.

Capital One would be a good shot to start off with they are the most lenient.

Other than that all the others are fairly strict.

You can try a secure card.

Once you do get a good credit history and a score of 720 or above I recommend these cards:

American Express
Discover
Citi
Chase
Bank of America

If someone wants to know which specific cards are good in each of these companies just PM me.
