Hopefully, they are taking almost two months for your case huh...what did you tell them when you asked them to expedite it, and did they actually helped you or did they just gave you the same answer that in 15 days you should hear back from them? I'll call to have them expedite my stuff as soon as I hear that they have received my stuff. I sent it last week, so from what I've been reading I should hear back from them late next week. Basically, I did everything I needed to do with my EAD before sending it back. I am currently working (on the books), have my insurance, have my ID and go to school so I don't need my EAD urgently as of now.
They made a service request and said I should hear back within 5 business days.
When I called I told him I sent in correspondance on November 26th and I stil have no heard anything back. I then went on to ask if the case could be expedited. The agent listed various categories when the a case can be expedited. In the categories he told me, USCIS Error was one. He then asked me what was the eror and I told him a typographical error was made on my EAD after 2 service requests were made before the card went into production. He happily made the Service Request. The whole process took no more than 10 minutes.

Well sent in my old EAD card and prof of my name on January 28 and the tracking number I had on the letter states that they received it on January 30 but they haven't updated my status yet.
