IF you are in the same situation as I am, let me explain...

My dad was the first to come over to the US and then sent for my mom and I. I was brought to the US when I was 2 years old. Since then I have lived in the US and all of my schooling up until now has been completed here. Obviously the biggest downfall to this is my "illegal" status. But even with the fact of being illegal I am so grateful to my parents for bringing me to this country where I have received an excellent education and the foundation for a successful future.

So, are you okay with your parents bringing you here illegally or would you have rather stayed in you home country? or did DACA change your mind/plans?

I'm 25 now BTW.

It's not a matter of right and wrong. It's a matter of what was best at the time. My parents did what they thought was right for me so I can't hold my situation against them. Would I have done things different in my parents place? Perhaps but looking to blame someone for our situation is useless.

My parents often talked about this and said had they know it would be like this, they would have never brought us but with DACA and a 5% of a CIR passing, they are optimistic about them making the right choice. I can't really say it was the best thing for them because usually when people think about it living back home, they imagine going back NOW with knowing everything there is here. Had we never brought here, we would never had know how life was here even with an illegal status. So there wouldn't be much to miss.

living here illegally is a lot better than living in a shitty situation back home

even illegally here you have a chance of becoming part of the 1% back home? never

My mother is a single mother and she sent me here, ilegally of course, to live with my aunt. It was the best thing at the time since she had to care for five of us. But ibelive it wasnt the best choice. But then thats when the lack of education, ignorance, and past bad decisions lead to more not great decisions, but like i said before, iguess it was the best decision at the time. Idk if im explaining myself. anyway...
I love my mother and my siblings i miss themvery much. IT has been REALLY hard not to be with them. but i do love the life i have here, the life i will have soon after approval because iam going to be able to help my mother ALOOOT.

Everything happens for a reason. There is a reason why we are here.
