putting my packet togeter..but need HELP!!

i'm finally ,ALMOST FINISHED GUYS!.. so excited!!one setback though..
.. when i applied for jr college i made a huge mistake.. ( i swear it was a mistake!!) i put the wrong social..i was off by 1 number! ever since i found out i used the wrong ssn i stopped attending school so that they didnt think i tried to actually steal someones identity.. so now on my college transcript
it shows the wrong social..but still says my name ,i tried to get it fixed but my school started asking me for my gov. i.d which i dont have. this transcript was suppose to be my proof for the years 2009-2010.. i have no other proof at all. do you guys think i should still put it in my packet despite the use of another social? and if i do put it in my packet, how would i answer question #9 on formI-765? Any feedback or opinions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you guys in advance!

Include a letter of explanation as to why the social is different on your school transcript so there will be no confusion.

How should i write it? and what part of the packet should i place it in? super late reply but ive been waiting on other parts of my evidence to arrive from different places. im hoping to send out before the end of february!!

its been over 3 months, where is you evidence coming from?

different cities that ive lived in. i moved around quite a lot so its taking me some time to come up with evidence since i dont have my name on a paper trail, no credit card, bills that are under my name. and just stuff like that.

So, is this a CA college? Are you saying you have your own SSN and the only thing you didn't have was an ID?

---If you are under AB540 just go in there an change it look for someone friendly. Tell them is you old ssn but you didn't know you were supposed to leave it blank. Do you have an old ead card to show them?

not exactly, i wasnt under ab540, i just signed up for school regularly to see if my ssn would work,long story short, the ssn that i put was actually off by one number so it wasnt my ssn the whole time. thats why i stopped attending school....so it wouldnt ultimately seem like i did it on purpose.do you think they'll notice it? lol its seriously off by one number im hoping to just get away with it rather than explain myself but at the same time im scared for them to send me an rfe.
