It is important to get your voices heard, BUT (and it's a big stinky but):

People cannot be annoyed by your message - like that video a while ago of a group who would also benefit from Dream Act (and I refuse to call savages dreamers) blocking traffic in middle of a city - if someone is running late and they run into your illegal demonstration you can be sure they would want your ass deported.

Shouting in middle of a formal proceeding of a group which will be likely drafting the bill which will legalize your asses is also a dumb idea, if anything you'd just sway whatever on-the-fence member of the committee to a big fat NO. You want to attend do so, share your story if you find the right time, be nice even to a piece of shit like Lamar Smith (even though we all would take turns to whip him).

Sorry, but that's complete bullshit (all due respect). Are you familiar with the concept of leverage? We don't really have much and it's taken 26 years to even bring up the issue of legalization this far and all it takes is something to end it or set it back.
It takes a foolish person to overplay his card and push his luck. It's not brave to ruin your chances at getting something passed and they are certainly no hero for ruining our chances by doing something this stupid.

If I was at the meeting I would tell those in attendance "Yeah your honors, those morons don't speak for me, please deport them because neither your side or our side need people that stupid."

Leverage, sure we don't have any, that is why they are discussing our case,(just in case you did not get it Im being sarcastic) and yes you will save your own people just to save yourself. And yes they don't speak for you because won don't even speak for you, do you really think this people just walked into the hearing? I live in the district and I know how hard it is to get into one of those buildings, so Im sure one of the congressman knew what they were all about.
