If so, you still need to wait for your Biometrics appointment letter, then wait for your appointment date. Then it should be another 2-3 months after that.

No. I have been approved for my employment authorization card (it's on its way and USCIS just sent me the tracking number). However, for my DACA case it still says it's under initial review. I have seen though people being approved for both DACA and EAC at the same time.

You sure about that? I've read several threads stressing those two cases are reviewed "differently". Besides, USCIS still says I'm under initial review even though I've been approved for eac already indeed. If they, on the contrary, are considered just one ... why do they send two receipt numbers then?

...its called an Employment Authorization Document, EAD.

I thought you meant EAC as in Eastern Adjudication Center.

Most people get approved for both during the same day since you don't qualify for an EAD without DACA.
