applied jobs with engineering degree, there was a company about to give me offer but after telling the HR I am in deferred action, she never call me back again. (yes, it's your loses)

Later the week got 2 offers. Company A knows I am an EAD holder and they have no problem with that, they just told me that they are not able to sponsor me, which is fine because DACA EAD is not sponsor type. Company B's HR is very legit and they didn't even ask my EAD, I accept their offer and filed the I-9 and they are doing reference/background check at this moment.

The one I accepted offer me annual salary close to 6 digits.

In fact, if the company is professional enough, their HR will not ask question about your visa status because it's not legal to do so. There are many type of other EAD that don't require sponsorship, DACA is just one of those, you just have to fill out their I-9 form properly, the I-9 form stated clearly that the employer shouldn't have any discrimination against workers with limited time of employment.
But 90% of the company will not choose to hire you if you have EAD. Which is sad.

Actually we're not protected from employment discrimination.... there was a great thread about the subject a few weeks back in the other topics section. Congratulation Little Brand.

I had a job already and it not on the same topic but I asked for my boss a raise because I have a family and we needed more, not because I legally could work. So 2 weeks went by and there were rumors I was going to leave because I could work somewhere else. The next day after I heard what rumors where going around he called and told me what I was going to do?I told him I wasn't planning to change jobs but I would do anything for my family even if it took I work a second job. He simply said sell that junk car of yours it gonna break down and then you will be in the hole with a junker(01 Honda accord 191k salvage title...yea kind of junkie.) a couple days later my car breaks down timing belt isn't working $800 in repairs but car is worth $2000 tops. I luckily decided to sell it the mechanics assistant that had the same car and need some parts from mine and we decided on $1500. I told my boss I was looking for a car with $1500. He asks me what do you really want. I said a car that wont break down and big enough for a family of 4. He calls me that same night and asks what color car I wanted with the money I gave him(gave him the money cuz he has connections.) the next day at work he gets there and starts to record me on his phone and asks me to walk outside to the parking lot. I follow him to see the surprise of my life. A brand new 2013 Hyundai Sonata Silver!!! I was in disbelief. So he used the money for the down payment and it turned out that he was going to make the payments and also pay the insurance on the car ($500 a month total) Its a lease for 3 years but at least I have peace of mind about driving a good car with my Cali drivers license which I have been wait with all you fellow dreams for years! I know its not paying me directly but its an expense I don't have to worry about and gave me a company credit card for gas allowance and emergencies. So blessed right now it took a lot of work, sweat, tears and pain, but its starting to get better and the only way now for me if up. I came from the lowest and I hope my story inspires you to keep at it and you never know what great things are to come.

Lets see, applied to Intel a few months ago, well was recruited but I told them i didn't have the required "papers" to work. Recruiter told me to call him as soon I did and he would find me a spot. 6 months later, he found a position for me in the Project Development group and I just need to go to Hillsboro for an interview and I am set. I called HR and ask them about 2 years thing and told me that would be issue, but the recruiter vouch for me and they gave me a go. Thats my story
