I went to the Sso today and the lady said i have to wait 10 business days fom the day my ead was valid to apply of a Ssn. Isn't that some shit!

Yes it is. Did she even attempt to submit your application to see if it went through?

I did the 10 days wait and went to apply yesterday.
The lady didn't say anything about me having to wait to apply, but she did try to verify electronically and it didn't work, so she said she would have to mail it manually and that it would take around 4 weeks to get the card. Manhattan SSO. Hoping it wont take that long.

You waited 10 days from the day you received the card to go get a Ssn?

Counting a weekend, yes, so I guess less than 10 workdays.

Hey, I just got approved! So based on what I'm reading, I have to wait 10 days after I receive ead to go and apply for ssn? Is this the case for everyone?
