CA DL thread - Page 147

Applied for my permit/license at San Luis Obispo DMV, passed it in Westminster DMV.

lucky. my paper license also said "temporary" but it expires in 2 years

Where does it say Temporary? At the top where this one says Interim?

I just got my ID after 6 weeks, but it's only valid for 2 yrs. I am worried that the same thing will happen with the DL. I am grateful nonetheless, but this whole process has been irritating.

DMV is in Santa Ana, CA.

p.s. sister received her DL/ID as a regular from the same DMV

Yeah, but I go to school there.

Also, Santa Ana DMV was the only place to ask for the license of the person 18 years old or older with me. Had I brought my dad, who has no valid license, well. I brought my uncle, who is a USC.

hey guys how long has it taken for some of you that applied for an ID to get it. my bro and sis got their dl and ID in 2 weeks and im going on my 4th just for an ID . thanks.

7 days to get the ID for me.

I got mine in less than 7 days. Sacramento area.
