Hello everyone, I have a very important question. Let's say someone with DACA recently wins the lottery, specifically the Powerball ($50 million). Would they be able to collect? Should this person contact a lawyer, and how would this person go about trusting said lawyer? Thank you very much in advance, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Yes, the person should be able to collect it. If you Google "illegal immigrant wins lottery", you'll find stories of undocumented people winning and then being duped out of the money. However, many are able to collect their winnings.

Copy the ticket, so you have proof just in case something happens to the original. And contact a lawyer who specializes in estate and financial planning. I recommend looking for someone on the site Avvo. It's essentially Yelp for lawyers.

Why not? They take taxes up front I think.
