Just curious, do they let people with a typo on their EAD apply for SSN ?

My EAD had a typographical error. Instead of being 2 years it was 2 months validation. I still went to get my stuff done. Although when i got my card that same day i called USCIS to tell them the error and they mailed me the info on how to fix it. Couple days ago i got my EAD card in the mail again and it was corrected. Only person to point out the error to me was at the DMV when i went to get my DL. I told her how it was an error and she just said to get it fixed asap. My DL is for 4 years so it didnt affect me.

I went to the SSN and everything went smoothly, 30 minutes of waiting and 5 minutes with the SSN lady.

Mine was simple. The lady asked me for all my information. She filled it out in the computer, and that all. She didn't ask for any questions beside information about myself. She told me i had to come the next day for a print-out as it's supposedly processed over night and i did so. I got my card within a week. I'm under-age as well, and i didn't need a parent next to me for any of this.

i went yesterday with my passport and ead the lady asked me if i had my birth certificate i old her it was at home.. she then excused herself and returned with some dude in a tie they start looking at my documents and telling me i need my birth certificate i try telling my birth certificate isnt required but theres no arguing with these ppl

i come back with my birth certificate and the lady starts asking me how long have i been here when was the last time i left the country and if entered with a visa.. she starts typing excuses herself and returns with a different dude the dude then tells her to type some codes into the computer i overheard ewi after he leaves she tells me my documents couldnt be verified and most be sent to dhs she then makes copys and gives me a paper saying i applied i for a ssn

when i got home i closely examined the paper and noticed my last name was missing a letter i dont know if i should go back or just call them

I would just print the DACA SSN page to show them.
