I got approved at the beggening of this montha after a 5 month wait.
I am just curious, but I did not receive a text or email notifying me of my
status change eventhough I signed that sheat stating that I wanted to receive
those notifications.
Also, I got a social that starts with the number zero, is that, that normal?
Hopefully any future employer will not think that I pulled it out of my a@#
and make it up.

to get notified of updates you had to sign up on the uscis website
i think the paper that went in with the application was just to get notified when they received it.
