Thanks for all the replies!

The ticket reads "being upon a restricted area; order # 03-0360" and the header for that box is "You have been charted with the following violation"

here's a sample "http://www.cvb.uscourts.gov/sample.html"

I think that I will not check that box and just use the additional information area referencing that question. Then I will include another exhibit in my evidence packet.

I have to come up with a way to justify not checking the box, yet including evidence anyway, so that I don't seem like a liar....
has anyone done this before?

edit: I dont have time for the FBI bg check.

edit2: I think that when I talk about this on my evidence sheet and on the forms, I will refer to it as a "minor violation"...sound good?

You have to go to the end pg 10 but they had to put yes on the box. You don't have to because you have no convictions.

It says "being upon a restricted area; order # 03-0360"
That order is the one I posted a link to on the first post

Thanks for that example. I think that I will proceed as I stated previously, saying no on the box and including the information anyway

As I understand it and researching the actual law codes in the order you posted. You trespassed national forest service land that means we are talking about federal law not state law. But even so you were not convicted of the misdemeanor it was most likely an infraction.
