I got my daca approved 1/27/13 and applied for ssn 2/1. I have a really important job interview on Friday and I am deeply concerned about e-verify. What should I do if I do not get a clearance? Is there any way to self check?

If you have a receipt number you can call your sso and ask them if your ead has cleared and if it has you can go request a printout. I guess you should be fine after that.

You can check yourself on this website, but if you have no credit you will come out as invalid.

From what I understand an employer cannot deny you if your SS# comes back as invalid, instead they're suppose to give you a letter giving you options and saying how you need to go to the SS office and fix your problem.

If I were you I wouldn't stress it, just make sure you bring your SS card.

They won't even bother to start looking at your documentation until several week after your interview.

Anyway, I just recently got a job offer with and had no problem with "passing."

Thanks guys. This job is really important for me and I really wish I can get this job. I will wait it out and try to apply for a credit card. Thanks.
