I sent my package which I prepared all by myself on novermber 3rd (overnight)(texas) got a txt on november 7th that they got it and sent it to nebraska. about 2 weeks later I received my appt for biometrics. Got that done December 6. I got approved February 15th. Cant believe it was this fast.

Wow u got lucky! I hope i get approve this week since our timelines are similar.

Spoke to my lawyer today, App was received on 9/4 ... Lawyer said that hes got no news hes had clients approved in 3 weeks total time and im one of his few who he has sitting around still in initial review and i provided far more documentation. He believes that our cases are being held up because we at some point had prior status in the states and that is really complicating our files. Not really anything new but maybe itll help answer some questions.

I went in for the biometrics on oct 15, 2012, It's been like 4 monts, and have not heard anything. Any suggestions, comments?? Thanks

Why is it taking so much longer for people to get approved? What happened to getting approved after a couple of months?

Date acceptance letter of application received G1145- 9/27/12
Date of I-797 C Notice of Action - 10/2/12
Date Biometrics scheduled - 10/16/12
Date of EAD received - 2/20/2013
