Don't worry, my friend who just got approved the other day didn't receive a tracking number either. I'm guessing they went back to their old protocol of not giving one, you are going to have to call them.

After getting the email from USCIS stating that they sent out the card, you should receive a tracking number a few hours later. That's what I experienced.
