Social experiment - Page 2

Well I did it but not really to see how stuff would change but just due to the fact that it got boring. I'm not really a phone person or social media person so its a whatever. I hate Facebook because its a full bunch of people from high school trying to make it seem like they doing more than they are. I hardly talk on the phone due to the fact that I really only like hearing whats in important. Have you ever noticed they complete idiocy ppl run on with when you talk to them daily.

I deleted my FB a while back. Now I just keep in touch with those that matter. I only need a few, close friends. If, and when we hang out, we hang out. Texting/Social media/ phone calls can only do so much. Hanging out in person is underrated.

I just don't get this online social craze like FB etc.

I tried Facebook out once, and found it utterly boring...closed my account and never looked back.

Definitely. I downloaded a copy of my facebook information and damnnnn.. its like a book on its own.

Deleted all social media stuff I would say more than a year ago. Then someone showed me stuff on an old friends facebook and realized I wasted 10 minutes on something extremely pathetic. I wonder how many hours I've saved. Its freeing to say the least.

The only thing i really cared for on facebook was reminiscing through the timeline.
I don't think people use it as much as they did before and nowadays it seems like there is more of an emphasis on advertisements, "like my status", and this giant influx of kids.

It just sounds like you have a Facebook problem, I use social media sites but they never get in the way of my life.
