Got approved today guys (technically really on 2/20/13, just checked today though). My application was received on Oct 23, 12. So it took almost exactly 4 months (in case anyone was wondering). My sister's application was received on the same day but still no approval for her yet. She thinks my application was approved before hers because i graduated with a BS in mech engineering and she majored in criminal justice. LOL

Also, my service center was also Vermont. I thought it was going to take longer, but very stoked that i was incorrect in my assumption. Hang in there guys. I hope those waiting a long time will get approved soon.

Also, can you guys see my "signature"?? Because i can't.

I was approved yesterday morning around 9:00, i was so excited but around 2:30 I got another text that my case has been updated, so i went ahead and check the status of my case, it was back to initial review. I called the customer service number and they told me that they are double checking to make sure they have everything in order to process my case any further.

I am back to the dark hole.

Hey guys I have finally hit the 6 month period I did a service request and this is what it said:

Your case is currently under review. You should receive a decision or notice of other action within 30 days of the date of this letter.

I guess it's just a waiting game. Hopefully I will get an approval soon.

gives me some sort of hope.. i'm hoping you dont have to wait the whole 30 days..
