Hey all,

I have not been contributing much to this forum, however, I always visit the forum for updates. For those of you who have sent the applications in August, I just want to let you know not to give up hope. I just got approved on the 22nd. I am including my timeline below.

I applied through a lawyer -- fyi.

Application Sent/Received: Aug 23rd 2012
Service Center: Nebraska
Bio Done: October 18th 2012 (I did not walk-in, went as per appointment)
DACA Approved: February 20th 2013
EAD Approved: February 20th 2013 (Also in production the same date)

I was just telling myself on Monday that if I don't hear anything by today (Friday), I was going to inquire as it would be exactly 6 months. But luckily everything has worked out. I must tell you its a great feeling. I have been here for over 20 years of my life and this is home. Its a great relief to know that I will be able to live the way I want to in my home country.

why did you write 20th insted of 22nd? 2day is 22nd.

Because I got approved 2 days ago, but did not have time to post on here due to work. lol

Have you guys notice that a lot of aug application got approve this week. My friend apply in aug and got approve today.
