This is a quick question to Cali dreamers that got approved and are driving. Is the license for 2 or 5 years. I've heard that some People got it for 2 and others for 5.

What you herd is true.

Some get it for 2 others for 5.

My ID is valid for 6 years, I still haven't gotten my license.

JJ how long did it take them to process your ID and get it on to your hands?

I applied on December 27, that's when my ID was issued. I don't remember when I received it in the mail, but the envelope it came in has the date of January 03, so I'm guessing I got it about 2-3 days later, January 05-06

Which means it took exactly 7 days for them to mail it, 9-10 days to reach my house.

If you feel that you need to contact your congressman, you should do it. Your congressman is in office to represent you whether he's a Republican or Democrat. Good luck to you.

According to online searches the Vermont service center is relatively slow so this isn't new. Unfortunately you and I along with a crap load of people are stuck. Lets hope this week we are good.
