I have been following this forum for months now, it has been helpful to read what others have posted. I was brought to America when I was 3 and now I am 24 and I have always had to live in the shadows for years. I went to college and got a nursing degree, passed my state boards and by God's grace obtained a nurses license late last year. I then applied for deferred action and had to sit down the last few months and not work even though I am an RN. I know it is tough being a immigrant and that we face a lot of disappointment and sadness. However one day we will all be able to show the world what we can do and no one will be able to stop us. I wanted to finally post today to encourage everyone that I finally after almost 6 months of waiting I got that wonderful text this morning at 7am. I AM FINALLY APPROVED!!!!!!!!!! For everyone that is still waiting hang in there your day is coming. I did not expect to hear from them so soon especially because I called yesterday. I got the same old story your case is pending and when a decision is made we will contact you. Im praying for everyone still waiting for an approval.

Application received by USCIS: Sep. 10, 2012
Biometrics: Oct. 4, 2012
Approved for DACA and work permit: Feb. 26, 2013

I called yesterday took me about 2 hours to speak to a second level officer and I got the same response, ””we're working on cases from Aug. 27 and back”” so it's a recordings like any other... you should get approved very very soon.... You're from Aug.. I live in bell and people from AZ are being told the same thing.. they gentlemen told me I had about 2 more months of waiting...

Yes I was at my lawyers yesterday they are like we had over 50 cases, every1 but seven people got it within 3 months. So that is why I do not understand that thing they say about we are working on a Zip code. Paid
Lawyer can not do anything, Misses school for Spring, I am scared I will miss Fall. I do not understand if an application comes first and something is wrong do not put it in ur desk for later, just send the request for evidence or approve it. Six Months!!!!
