On the uscis web site, it say's In assessing whether such an education, literacy or career training program not funded in whole or in part by federal or state grants is of demonstrated effectiveness, USCIS will consider the duration of the program’s existence; the program’s track record in assisting students in obtaining a regular high school diploma or its recognized equivalent, in passing a GED or other state-authorized exam, or in placing students in postsecondary education, job training, or employment; and other indicators of the program’s overall quality. For individuals seeking to demonstrate that they are “currently in school” through enrollment in such a program, the burden is on the requestor to show the program’s demonstrated effectiveness.Sorry for the big paragraph.
Thanks for any help guy's.
You will be fine have faith!!!!

Good luck man! Hope it brings some good news.

I'll be talking to the congresswoman tomorrow morning. Let's see how that goes. After that I'll do the e-request.

Hey peeps. I've been following this forum closely secretly. Like in a stalking way lol.
Well. A little success story here...

First allow me to introduce myself, my name is Andres, born in Colombia raised in Southern California. Ok, I won't make the story long. I was the only one who qualified from a family of three children, I know it sucks for my siblings, I'm the youngest so yeah... My parents didn't want me to apply for the daca because they didn't know if Obama was going to be reelected and they were afraid that Romney would rule out the act. Time passed, I forgot about it until January when people around me kept telling and literally pushing me to do it so I went for it. I'm an IT consultant, computer tech whatever you want to call it so I knew people, one of my clients was a paralegal so he helped me with all the process for free, well I fixed all his computers and network structure at the office so not really for free but kinda haha. So he mailed it out by the end of January I got the letter for the biometrics around a week later, it was due for march 8 and I made the drive for it on Wednesday the 13th of February at last minute. I live in Orange County and my assigned location was in the LA service center -_- I got there around 3.15. It was as empty as it could be so the whole process only took like 15 minutes. I was told I had to wait around 90 days for the process to be completed and especially since I applied so late but I check the status online once a week and I did today and to my surprise I was approved and the stuff was mailed yesterday so yeah I'm a happy camper, I can finally make my surf trip to Hawaii woooooh! Good luck to all of you waiting. And last but not least, I want to thank the one I look up to and the reason why it all happened it so fast, Jesus Christ.

Thanks zone2000, I noticed you obtained your DL shortly after your SSN. Is it possible to take the written and drive test in the same day or following day? It would be great.

as soon as you get your SSN (or didn't a law passed where you don't need the social anymore ? ) you can take the written on the same day, then you have to wait at least 24hrs (or so they say) to make a behind the wheel appointment! as long as you're over 18 you don't have to take driving school.

if you finish your written test on one day, then around 7pm or so on the same day you can jump online and schedule a behind the wheel test, and depending on the availability of instructors then you can take care of it the very next day if anything is open.

When i took my driving test i did it the very next day because there was available appointments, i had to go back to the dmv to take care of other matters after new years and the appointments got crazy late, no more next day appointments. i would look around on your surrounding DMV offices to see which one has the earliest appointment!

GOOD LUCK!
