Hello everyone. I have been following this forum for quite a while but finally decided to add a post. I applied for daca in September. Initially had a biometrics date for Oct 31 but it had to be rescheduled due to hurrican Sandy. November 30 was the rescheduled date and the date it was done. It has now been 3 months, and I am going crazy to say the least.

My status still says "Initial Review". Though I know I haven't been waiting as long as a few of you, it has me feeling like it's never going to happen. I do pray about it though and I am trying to be patient and have faith and all that.

If you have any further questions, please call the National Customer Service Center at 1-800-375-5283.
wow! Short or a denial i think this is everyone's worst nightmare. So now the timeline doubled to a year.

Maybe they just have a backlog of background checks?

I know... you are one dreamer I have been inspired by too. You seem to be so positive, I pray that you as well as everyone else gets the good news soon. We have been waiting all these years (I have been here since age 11 and I am now 21), a couple more days, weeks, months isn't all that bad :/

yes that's the right attitude!~ =D
i knoooow i hope and pray that each of us gets their approval one way or another...
definitely hoping for the CIR too.
hoping today brings some approvals..
i was trying to find the first WAC#s and i went back to way back and i still found some sept 4 initial review ones so i know theres a whoooooooole bunch of applicants still waiting; but the good thing is that there has been even more approved than not. =D so that's a good thing. i say one way or another we have to be able to fix. it would of been awesome if the ones that qualified were given approvals so lets see what happens. i know i for sure need to go back and clean up my financial slate...

guess now I have reached my six month wait. I remember being excited when I filed for DACA, but at this point I am just disappointed. Didnt think it was gonna take this long since I had previously obtained a working permit throught the Family Unity Program, but when I turned 18 they didnt grant it to me anymore. Then my dad petitioned me in 2006 when he became a resident. So I figured my case wouldnt take so long since I am already in the system, but booooy was I wrong.

Does not make any sense. So I guess I'll have to renew my passport to use as my I'd because it doesn't look like I will be having a drivers license anytime soon.
