It's been 5 months and 1 day since they received my application and 4 months since my biometrics was done. Why can Vermont speed things up? Have any of you had an issue with the call center being extremely vague. Thy tell me the same crap and leave my questions unanswered lol. The last person I spoke to said ill have an answer in 5 weeks since that would be my 6 month mark. That was a week ago but I think she was full of it considering some of you have hit 6 months already. I'm 26 so maybe they aren't prioritizing my case.

Question. I will receive my EAD this week. I'm from California. Please don't fire at me if this question has already been answered.

Can I go and apply for my driver's license as soon as I get the card or do I really need to have the SSN in hand too?

Butterfly, thanks for your answer. I will do so. I guess another week driving like this wont kill anyone.

How come you haven't received your approval yet??

Hi Ocean, just drive safely and CONGRATs over n over again...
Several factors may be impeeding my daca approval... The major one is that i lived in CA (several addresses) and in AR (moved 2 times there n bought a house)
My name may also b a factor bcuz ive misspelled it my whole life...
And i was working when i applied... So i might of not been a priority case...
And i'm old... Which is why i try to help in here. I may not be knowledgeable with uscis but i try to be there for anyone who needs a cyber uplift...

I just got an email saying my name was updated on March 1st for the I-765 application, but when I check the I-821D, it says the same thing "Your application was received blah blah blah..". Anyone know what this is all about??
