My case was received on 11/02 and had my bios on 12/7 . When my bios were being taken, the computer kept rejecting them. In the end it rejected most of them, and then person taking them said she would submit them anyway. However, she was certain that I would be getting a second biometric appointment. To this day I have not received anything.

I keep telling myself no news is good news, but I am worried. What should I do? just keep waiting? or perhaps this is something USCIS can answer?

I recommend to contact USCIS right away. Your file is most likely in the pile like everyone else, and that's why it's taking them so long to get to it. If you explain to them your concern, and they'll likely pull up your file to process a 2nd biometrics appointment for you if you need it.

Good luck.

Thank you! I will contact them.

I have seen posts of people who have received a second bio appt. within a week or 2, but yea it could just be that my file in burried in many cases.

i had also heard that the FBI used to answer calls regarding fingerprints (if they had been processed and sent to USCIS) but they no longer do that due to the many calls they were receiving from Deffered Action applicants.

A computer defines whats a good finger and what is not based on patterns it was programmed to see. In your case your fingers were damaged that they did not satisfied the requirements so what the person did was overdrive it because at the end its a human looking at your fingerprints. It most likely the forensic person analizing yours decided they were good enough.

There's no reason to contact USCIS. If you didn't receive a second biometrics appointment already then that means your fingerprints were good and you just have to wait until an adjudicator looks over your case like everyone else. When someone's fingerprints aren't good enough, they are usually sent a second Biometrics appointment within a couple weeks.

No, you should honestly just wait and if after a month, then yes you should call and ask about it. So they don't think you abandoned your case or anything like that
