Ianus has kept a great newsfeed in this forum that has helped a lot the last couple of months. I hope the mods can convince him to join the ranks. There seem to be other users from the great DACA migration from 2012 that might be ok, but I fear to nominate a troll so I would need to do more homework on them.

I'm sure there are many capable posters but from some that I've seen on the forum recently, I'd like to throw my support behind GREENTEA, DEMISE, IANUS (If he is willing to do the job) Can't think of many others at this point but yes, good luck and great initiative Nick. We will certainly need the help with CIR on the horizon and impending flood of new members.

In this post I will make the case against Ianus. Ianus might be a very knowledgable poster but:

A: He has rejected the nomination before. No need to beg him to do it. A mod needs to want to be a mod.
B: I don't think he's as active through out the day. Mods aren't of much use if they aren't active.
C: He isn't from West Coast. I really don't know why we don't have a west coast mod since that is where majority of our traffic comes from.
D: He mostly hangs around News Room. Maybe he could be mod of news room.

So, flyinagainsthewind fits all the criteria for a good mod.

Ms. Flyinagainstthewind- She is a west coast member, which we need, very active AND helpful. Her comments are not polarizing and she can detect trolls.

Sk18- has been around since 2009, will be on west coast time, is always reading what is going on and his comments are pretty level headed.

Level-headed? Stop it, you're ruining my e-thug persona, lol. And before there are rivers and rivers flowing of my nominations; I don't want to be a mod.
