New Mexico and Washington only.

Utah issues a driving privilege card, listing that it is not valid for identification, only to illegal immigrants, so having such card is pretty much a proof of being in US illegally.

Illinois recently passed a law which will allow illegal immigrants to obtain limited term licenses. These "limited term" driving licenses also will be "not valid for identification", be blue rather than red, and only for illegal immigrants who can prove they lived in IL for at least 1 year preceding the application. So it is closer to the Utah Driving Privilege card than an actual license.

New Mexico's governor (R) wanted to change the requirement although I don't think the state congress approved it.

how did they get a DL in the first place? if its a real valid DL and they got a renewal letter in the mail, they may be able to do it online.

wut, in CA they automatically renew you and send your license in the mail if you have a clean record or they don't ask you to go back and take a new picture.

if you check that "don't have a social" box then they'll ask why, if you don't have a legitimate reason then you wont get a drivers license.
