It should, since technically if you were issued an RFE then that means your background check already cleared and all that is left to review is the RFE, and that shouldn't take the whole 60 days to do when some people are being approved within a week after sending back their response.

TODOBIEN, IT MAY NOT MEAN MUCH BUT TODOBIEN
IT WILL BE ALLRIGHT
don't worry until the next step because the next steps can easily be this:
RFE < DO AS TOLD
APPROVAL < LET US KNOW. GET UR PERMIT. THEN GO TO THE SSA N GET THAT SOCIAL
DENIAL < WONT SAY MUCH OF THIS BECAUSE WE HAVENT REACHED THAT POINT YET.
BUT JUST WAIT PATIENTLY. and hope a CIR passes
BEST WISHES AND POSITIVE VIBES

So today I received my work permit in the mail, only two days after it was mailed. Not bad. I applied for my social and made an online appointment to get my DL a week from today. I've been driving like this for 7 years, I got over it after the third year. lol.

Here's my timeline
January 31st - the application was submitted
February 8th - I received the letter for the biometrics
February 13th - biomatric taken (walk-in)
February 28th - approval
March 6th - I received the work permit

I've read that some people are concerned about being stopped without a drivers license in the past. Well, I was caught twice. First time, I was playing with my church band at another church and we finished really late at night and it was a Saturday. I was heading home when the police officer just stopped me randomly, I asked him why I was stopped, he said "routine" so there was no reason. He gave me a ticket and I had to call my friend to drive the car home. The second time, this one was painful, I had a sparkling new vw rabbit fresh off the dealer and year later a lady on her phone decided to run front of me. My car was a total lost. It looked like an accordion, no lie. I wasn't injured at all. The lady was bledding but nothing major. Her car was trashed as well. She admitted fault when the police came which made my case a lot easier. I just got a ticket for no driver license. After going to the chiropractor and doing the insurance claim two months later I bought a jeep wrangler fresh of the dealer as well and it's what I drive to this day. I should mention I did have insurance in both occasions and as you can see in my timeline that wasn't a factor for them to deny or delay my case.

Timelines like these are starting to piss me off lol

There's no pattern at all to this process.

For reals though, CONGRATS!
