Go for the secured card... Firstprogress.com
I have this one. My limit is my deposit.

Can I open a bank account only using my EAD card as identification? Or do I need my California ID or DL?

People are starting to screw their credit by applying everywhere LOL, many people get rejected for credit when there about to build credit for their name. The more you apply the worst it is.

People just have to be patient. After you open your bank account and they see that you keep a balance they will start offering the credit cards. You should also have a job.

I have a 4 credit crads only with a ITIN number, i started with a secured credit card in bank of america 3 years ago. Then they gave me back the deposit, they have increase my credit 3 times and now i have $2k credit with them .

I have others as well and im just waiting formmy social to keep increasing my credit and update it with all thencredit bureaus.

Start with a secured on!! It will take you around a year to start getting offers if you dont have high balances every month.

Many are applying for a lot of CC. Is that even a smart idea? lol

I only have a debit with BOA. Had it for a long time now. No CC so far.

Most people on here should consider getting a secured credit card first.

This is a misconception and is incorrect. Credit inquiries affect your credit score for one year, and are on your credit profile for two years before they aren't reported to lenders at all. For real credit advice, do some research and go to a legitimate website like myFICO.com
