I feel Everyone's pain. I sent in my application and it was received on Nov. 26th and still it remains in initial review. I'm really hoping this is just due to the influx of applications and not some issue with my application. It seems im not the only one though, which is a good thing.

By any chance did anyone have issues with Biometrics. They sent me three appointments, was annoying to deal with at the time.

On March 11, 2013, we transferred your I765, APPLICATION FOR EMPLOYMENT AUTHORIZATION, to your local USCIS Office for further processing. The new office has jurisdiction over your case and will send you a decision as soon as processing is complete or you will be notified if further information or action is needed. If you move, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address.

Okay don't panic. Due to the state of the economy, budget cuts etc., many people within DHS are being let go or are having their work time reduced. In other words they have less people than before and they can no longer handle the workload.

As a result they are transferring many applications to other Service Centers. This is going all over the nation, so you might have to wait a little longer than expected.

Got my Biometrics appointment on Monday. Let's hope things stay in motion.

Harvard is overrated, in my opinion. Duke University is in my plans. Don't strain yourself on this one lol.

yea I noticed. Hopefully we get accepted soon. I heard that applications from California were transferred to Texas. Hopefully this speeds up the process

I hope it does, because waiting is not a good feeling. Well, keep me updated if you get approved and good luck to you and everyone who is having the same problem as us.

I've been looking through this site since the day I sent in my application and didn't post anything til now.

Hopefully I can give some hope to those October-November applicants

Sent my application on November 14th which ended up at the California center.
Was received November 15th
Biometrics done December 11th (No walk-in)
Went straight to card production today March 15th 2013
